Twice Bitten, Thrice Bold

It is of great importance
To cherish friendship this instance
For the world may not be small in appearance
But it is actually a very small one

Once bitten, don’t be thrice shy
Sometimes you want to just fly
Up high in the sky
And wish your tears would dry

Second chance is quite hard to find
Though so easy like it’s down your hind
You want to turn your eyes so blind
And wish to loose the ties that bind

Humanly speaking you desire reconciliation
But you sigh or sometimes do the exclamation
Failure staring at you during this examination
Something subtle will speak, but you fight with hesitation

Life is all about errors we make
Our DNAs push us inside the oven of life to bake
Oops! We shiver as we shake
Had I known, a song we sing nonstop without a brake

How do we handle this?
When the errors stare at us like this
So straight into our eyes angrily like this
Chicken out? Change? Or face it like Chris

There is always a room for second chance
A room to stop the devil from having the dance
A room to let it go at a glance
A room to change and positively advance

You may have been bitten once
Or beaten twice
Or probably thrice
Face it boldly, no need to.shy away twice

Pay the price
In it all, rejoice
Take not the correction as a slice
Speak to yourself in a very loud voice
As from today, I will make a better choice

I live to write; I write for a living. Because I breath words in and out, everything I pen down must be epic!
