In the realm of assumptions, I ponder,
A lesson to learn, let me now wander.
To conclude or judge without thorough inspection,
Neglecting perspectives, lacking reflection.
Like a coin, assumptions possess two faces,
Both deserving attention in different places.
Heed not one side, but strive for a balance,
Grasp the whole truth, avoid ignorance’s trance.
One face may whisper tales of conviction,
Drawing us closer to a swift decision.
Yet, the other side holds contrasting views,
A gateway to understanding, a path we must choose.
For in assumptions, error can lie,
Blurring our vision, veiling the sky.
But with patience and willingness to delve,
We uncover truths that history cannot shelve.
So, let not prejudice guide our way,
Nor hastily let judgments hold sway.
Seek perspectives diverse, embrace them all,
Unveiling the tapestry, vibrant and tall.
