SOMEWHERE FAR

In front of the mirror’s gaze, I stand,
A longing heart, a weary soul in hand.
Seeking solace, a respite from the fray,
A conversation with my reflection, I will convey.

Oh mirror, tell me, where shall I go?
To escape the hurts and pains that grow,
A place far away from betrayal’s sting,
And fake friends who wear deceit like a ring.

Somewhere far, beyond this world’s facade,
Where hypocrisy’s mask fades into the void,
A realm untouched by malice and pretense,
Where truth and authenticity find recompense.

In distant lands, where peace resides,
Amidst serene valleys and vast, open skies,
I yearn to wander, unburdened and free,
Embracing solitude’s sweet harmony.

Oh mirror, can you show me the way?
To a sanctuary where my spirit may sway,
A refuge where my heart can heal and mend,
In the embrace of nature, I’ll transcend.

Through forests deep and mountains grand,
Where silence whispers secrets, hand in hand,
I will find my solace, my sanctuary afar,
A sanctuary from the world’s relentless char.

With each step taken, I will leave behind,
The chains of betrayal, the masks that bind,
For in the wilderness, I shall rediscover,
The strength within me, as a soulful lover.

In the mirror’s gaze, I see a spark,
A glimmer of hope to guide me through the dark,
I will embark on a journey, both near and far,
To find myself, to heal, to become a shining star.

I live to write; I write for a living. Because I breath words in and out, everything I pen down must be epic!
