Through the door, we stride anew,
Leaving behind what once did bruise.
Away from pain, we find our way,
Towards a brighter, hopeful day.
With strength, we take that graceful bow,
Heads held high, our spirits now,
Shoulders tall, we bear no weight,
Walking towards a lighter fate.
No longer captive to mental strife,
We say goodbye to that old life.
In freedom’s arms, we find release,
And let our weary hearts find peace.
Relationships that drained our soul,
No longer hold us in their hold.
Through the door, we boldly go,
Starting over, a chance to grow.
Guilt has no place within this stride,
For in ourselves, we now confide.
With courage as our guiding light,
We step into a future bright.
Through the door, a journey grand,
A chance to mend, a life unplanned.
Away from hurt, towards the new,
We walk with strength, our hearts renewed.
