In somber skies, the tears descend,
As raindrops fall, my sorrows blend,
Drowning softly, in the water’s wane,
But my smile, resolute, camouflages the pain.
From weary eyes, the tears do stream,
Lost in the current of a heartfelt dream,
Cascading down, like a tender refrain,
Yet my smile, steadfast, holds them in disdain.
The sky weeps, in torrents of gray,
But my smile, unyielding, refuses to sway,
Concealing crevices, where sadness resides,
As raindrops dance, wounded tears it hides.
In the gentle drizzle, my secret weaves,
As the rain conceals, what my heart bereaves,
Stray drops wrap sorrows like a shroud,
Yet my smile endures, like a silver cloud.
The downpour roars, washing away fears,
But my smile shelters, guarding the tears,
A façade of strength, a shield, so tall,
Hiding tempests, behind a cheerful stall.
The rain subsides, with each droplet past,
And the rainbow emerges, whispers of contrast,
While tears drowned in the rain hold a sorrow’s sting,
My smile blossoms, with resilience to bring.
For the tears may fall, like a gentle cascade,
Yet my smile persists, like a barricade,
Concealing the shadows, longing to enthrall,
As love and strength uplift, they shall never befall.
