MOJISOLA

What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

‘Mojisola’, which means ‘I woke up in wealth’. More like I was birthed into wealth. A Yoruba name from the western part of Nigeria in Africa. Not that a billionaire’s daughter 😂, I guessed my parents were kind of speaking positivity into the air, lol. Growing up, God answered their prayers.

DON’T ASK!

Don’t ask me
Why my breast is sagging
Ask me about the four comely children
That suctioned my breast for two years each
Thank God in my life for the robust way they look
Appreciate the good job my breast did
In flowing ceaselessly with opulent milk

Don’t ask me
Why my tummy is not flat
Ask me about having a baby who weighed 4.6kg
Another who weighed 4.8kg
Ask me about two other who weighed 5kg
In my tummy for nine months
Thank God for me that I gave my womb disposingly
The stretch marks can bear me witness

Don’t ask me
Why I can no longer twerk
The same way Shakira will do
Ask me about the cumbersomely hefty load my back fortified
For nine months times four
Ask me about the pains it bore in the labour room
Thank God for my life that I withstood the pain
Thank God for my life that my bones were not broken

Don’t ask me
Why I am suddenly able to withstand any pain
If you have ever been to the labour room
You will understand the denotement
Of breaking two hundred bones at the same time
Thank God for me that I did not give up
Because of the excruciating pains
Now no matter what anyone does
It cannot be more than the pains of distribution

Don’t ask me
Where I have got my strenght from
Ask me how espousement has edified me
How to multitask naturally
And withal perform my task excellently sexually
Thank God for my life for vigor
Thank the owner of strenght himself for being so munificent

Don’t ask me why
Thank God for me
The transmutes you optically discern now
Is as a result of the fire I passed through
I came, I performed and the result is conspicuous

TOGETHER WE WILL STAND

In times of joy or sorrow, come what may,
You stand by me, through night and day.
Through laughter and through tears, you are there,
A friend so true, beyond compare.

In every trial, you stand with me,
A steadfast rock, unyielding and free.
Through thick and thin, you lend your hand,
Together, we conquer, side by side we stand.

When challenges arise, you stand for me,
A champion of my dreams, you will always be.
With courage and with strength, you fight,
For friendship’s bond, burning bright.

Cheers to you, my faithful friend,
Forever by my side, until the very end.
In every moment, come what may,
Together we will stand, come what may.

FOR LOVE’S CRUEL SAKE

Upon the stage of life, a solemn play,
I danced within the confines of his will.
Each bruise a mark of love turned to dismay,
Yet silence bound me tighter, cold and still.

The chains of expectation held me tight,
A prisoner to the whispers of the crowd.
Religion’s grip, a shadow in the night,
A shroud that stifled every cry aloud.

I feared the judgment of the eyes that watched,
Their gaze a weight upon my weary soul.
Yet still, I wore the mask, though pain was botched,
And bled in silence, hidden from control.

Each day, I patched my wounds with trembling hand,
A martyr to the cause of love gone sour.
My spirit shattered, like a grain of sand,
Yet still, I bore the weight of my own hour.

From today my story will echo through the years,
A warning to the hearts that dare to break.
For though I smiled, my eyes betrayed my fears,
A shattered vessel, for love’s cruel sake.

Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

Childhood of course. I had fun being carried, no responsibility whatsoever. Now I am an adult and I have to be responsible not only to myself but others.
