The wind whispers past my ears,
I shut my eyes, releasing my fears.
Waves collide with the rugged shore,
Out here, time is a concept I ignore.
The tranquility, a balm for my soul,
A peaceful day, my ultimate goal.
The breeze, a calming embrace,
Guiding me to find my life’s true place.
I gaze out at the vast ocean’s view,
Life’s chaos seems distant and few.
The sun descends behind the clouds,
Yet its orange halo, my heart shrouds.
Night approaches, and I sense
I am right where I need to commence.
The soothing gifts this day imparts
Fill my soul and mend my heart.
I ponder life’s winding stream,
But, for now, I let time slow, a dream.
To savor this moment, feel so free,
Clear my mind, find my lost glee.
These are the days I hold dear,
Nights so enchanting, skies so clear.
It may seem simple, but it is such a clutch,
Moments like these, I cherish so much.
For once, I bask in life’s gentle kiss,
Amidst the storms and the abyss.
Lost in the ocean’s calming sound,
Nature’s harmony, profound and unbound.
I could close my eyes, fade away,
Serenity helps me face each new day.
As waves continue their rhythmic knocks,
My heart finds happiness, unlocks.
It is time to cling to this serene delight,
Shed every sorrow, embrace the light.
The serenity I have found, so surreal,
Wipes the slate clean, a priceless deal.
