FOR THE SAKE OF HARMONY

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

My ego. Very dear to me but if it will improve peace and harmony, why not!

ALONE

In the middle of this new found solitude, a tale I will weave,
Of a young man who found solace and reprieve.
Betrayals and heartbreak had scarred his soul,
So he sought refuge in a place he could control.

Alone he stood, with walls built high,
Shielding himself from deceitful eyes.
In his own company, he found his peace,
A sanctuary where his anguish would cease.

No more would he suffer the pain of betrayal,
No more would he yield to a heart’s travail.
In his solitude, he discovered strength anew,
A resilience that grew with each passing day too.

The world may whisper its tales of woe,
But he found refuge where hurt could not go.
For in his fortress of aloneness, he found,
A sanctuary where his spirit could rebound.

No evil could penetrate his guarded space,
No hurtful words could touch his inner grace.
He embraced his solitude with open arms,
Free from the chains of past’s lingering harms.

Alone, he bloomed like a solitary flower,
Unburdened by the weight of others’ power.
His heart mended in the stillness of his retreat,
And he found contentment in his own heartbeat.

Thought the world spin with its trials and strife,
He had found the peace of a solitary life.
In his chosen solitude, he had found his way,
A sanctuary where his spirit would forever stay.

AN ENIGMA UNTOLD

I watched as love embraced the unexpected,
An enchanting tale emerged, uniquely connected.
A man and his reptile, an improbable pair,
Entwined by a love beyond compare.

That peak where love’s boundaries were tested,
A peculiar tale unfurled, warmly invested.
A man and his reptile, an extraordinary bond,
Their love unmatched, a mystery beyond.

He named her Alicia Adriana, his scaly companion,
Their connection defied norms, a union so uncommon.
Through days shared together in their private domain,
Love blossomed and grew, a secret arcane.

Society labeled it taboo, a love too obscure,
But he proclaimed their affection, resolute and sure.
In their hidden world, solace they’d find,
A love so profound, transcending the confined.

Whispers arose, curious eyes turned their way,
As their story unraveled, come what may.
In a surprising ceremony, bewildering all,
He wedded his Princess, hearts held in thrall.

Gasps filled the air, jaws dropped in surprise,
Witnessing vows exchanged, love’s resolute rise.
For who are we to judge, their enigmatic embrace?
In the depths of their souls, a connection took place.

Their tale, a ballad, an enigma untold,
A love unbounded, a saga to behold.
Incomprehensible, rare, and profound,
Their love persevered, resilient and sound.

Let it be known, love knows no bounds,
Defying conventions, where its essence resounds.
In their extraordinary love, a lesson we find,
To accept and embrace, leaving judgment behind.

For in this mystifying love, they discovered,
A happiness unparalleled, a connection uncovered.
Their story echoes, defying comprehension,
A love that endured, defying convention.

In their realm of devotion, eternally entwined,
A man and his sweetheart, hearts intertwined.
Their tale will forever defy our understanding,
A love that triumphed, its brilliance commanding.

TANGLED DESIRES: A WOMAN’S LAMENT

Within the realm of love, where lines are blurred,
I find myself entwined, my emotions stirred.
A married woman’s lament I now unveil,
As my husband’s yearnings soar, beyond the pale.

Oh, the nights we shared in love’s tender embrace,
Our vows bound tight, a sacred space.
But as time slipped by, his cravings grew,
Into a realm of kink, unknown and askew.

In this secret realm, he finds his delight,
With ropes and chains, in shadows of the night.
His fantasies take flight, soaring high,
While I, a faithful wife, question why.

Each night, tears cascade down my cheeks,
As my heart trembles and my spirit weakens.
Fear courses through my veins, like crimson rivers,
As the lash of his desires leaves my skin marked and worn.

Oh, the scars that adorn my fragile flesh,
A testament to the pain endured in secrecy.
And yet, a haunting smile dances upon his face,
A cruel reminder of the anguish I endure.

The whip he wields with sadistic delight,
Leaves my soul shattered, my dreams in tatters.
In this dark dance of pleasure and pain,
My heart bleeds, while his satisfaction remains.

How I long for the warmth of love’s sweet caress,
The gentle touch, tenderness, and finesse.
But his addiction to the unconventional reigns,
A passion that binds, as my heart strains.

Amidst my worry, I seek a way out,
A path to rediscover what love is about.
For I yearn for the days of intimate connection,
Not just the thrill of kink and wild affection.

I pray for strength, for every woman who feels,
Lost in a world where desire reveals,
A longing for love that is pure and serene,
Beyond the confines of this unconventional scene.

May we find solace in open dialogue,
Where honesty reigns, free from any fog.
For only through understanding can we reach,
A place where our desires peacefully breach.

Let us uncover the depths of our desires,
In a union built on trust, passion never tires.
And if kink is a part of our shared bliss,
May it be a spice, not an addiction’s abyss.

Here is to hope and healing, a path to reclaim,
Love’s essence, unburdened by shame.
May we find the balance in love’s embrace,
And let our hearts guide us to a sacred place.

MOB JUSTICE

JUNGLE JUSTICE

Within Nigeria’s expansive domain,
Where sunbeams ignite a fiery flame,
This poem emerges, purpose profound,
To address a scourge, firmly to expound.

Jungle Justice, its name now known,
A practice that chills us to the bone,
Where innocents suffer in the dead of night,
And justice fades, concealed from sight.

In this land of beauty, diverse and grand,
A dark shadow spreads across the land,
Where anger and frustration pave the way,
To acts of violence, where justice goes astray.

Oh, hear the cries of the wounded souls,
Their stories whispered in the wind that rolls,
Tales of torment and unwarranted pain,
Seeking redemption, they call out in vain.

In the heart of the jungle, where chaos thrives,
Humanity crumbles, and compassion dies,
We must rise above this primitive breed,
To quell the fire fueled by vengeful greed.

Let our voices echo, united as one,
For the day justice reigns has just begun,
No longer shall innocence bear the weight,
Of cruel retribution, an unjust fate.

We implore the hearts of the righteous few,
To stand against this darkness, to pursue
A path where fairness and equality reign,
Where peace and compassion forever remain.

For in the heart of Nigeria, and beyond,
We yearn for a world where justice is fond,
Where lives are valued, and rights are upheld,
And the cruel chains of brutality are quelled.

United, let our message resound,
Across this nation, as we gather around,
To end this madness, this relentless fight,
To preserve the sanctity of every life.

Jungle Justice, your days are now numbered,
As unity strengthens, and courage is unencumbered,
With compassion and love, our battle is fought,
Till justice prevails, and the innocent are sought.

MOST MEMORABLE VACATION

Describe your most memorable vacation.

I will say my trip to Ghana few years ago. I was woken up by my husband that day with breakfast in bed. It was not our anniversary or birthday so no occasion to warrant the beautiful treatment.

After breakfast, we took our bath together, he told me to dress up to go out, casually I did.

I never knew he had surprises on his sleeves. He drive to Muritala Muhammed airport , and gave me my ticket to Accra Ghana. He had packed my luggage while I was asleep, and put in the car.

We had the best vacation ever. We lodged at LABADI Beach HOTEL. I remember we visited beautiful places like KWAMEH NKRUMAH MEMORIAL PARK, MOKOLA MARKET where we got customized sandals, bracelets, Tshirts, bags and other souvenirs, ACCRA MALL where we watched two movies and ate pizza and ice cream. We also got quality Kente cloth in a store at the mall.

I cannot forget the LABADI PLEASURE BEACH, NATIONAL MUSEUM OF GHANA, OSU CASTLE, INDEPENDENCE SQUARE, BOJO BEACH, and this sumptuously prepared Nigerian food we ate in a local restaurant. The queenly treatment we got also at LABADI SPA, it must not go unmentioned Their restaurant section too, very neat and continental.

Ghana is a beautiful country. Wonderful people, ever smiling and ready to help strangers navigate and stay comfortable.

Next country is Kenya. I trust I will have sweet memories to share!
