BLAME GAME

In the game of blame, shadows cast deceit,
Accusations fly, truth held in retreat.
Pointing fingers quick, without a care,
Innocence lost, burden hard to bear.

The mirror of honesty shattered in rage,
Deflecting one’s errors, a dangerous stage.
Unaware of the harm we inflict,
Without empathy, our bonds grow weak.

Seeking truth’s refuge, we must embark,
To heal the wounds caused by blame’s cruel mark.
With open hearts and minds aglow,
The path to forgiveness, we will come to know.

Before accusing, let us dare to inquire,
Understanding blooms when we do not conspire.
For hasty judgment clouds our sight,
Look and grasp the facts, reclaim the light.

Break this cycle, lay blame to rest,
Find strength in admitting, we are not always best.
In unity, we can mend the fray,
Restore the harmony that has slipped away..

With humility’s embrace, we will find our way,
To grow and learn from the mistakes we display.
The blame game’s end, compassion’s embrace,
Truth and forgiveness, a path we will retrace

OVERFLOWING JOY

Check out my colors so bright,
And junction where hearts take flight like a kite,
Where overflowing joy cascades,
In laughter’s chorus, it serenades.

A symphony of smiles and glee,
Embracing hearts, wild and free,
Each moment, a dance of delight,
In the day and the starlit night.

Like a river’s gentle flow,
Love and laughter, they bestow,
A tidal wave of pure elation,
Binding souls in sweet sensation.

In the warmth of friendship’s glow,
Overflowing joy will always grow,
Cherishing the bonds we share,
Forever floating in the air.

My love, let us revel in this cheer,
In moments that are bright and clear,
With overflowing joy we find,
The magic of life, intertwined.

MY JOURNEY IN VERSES

I came, I saw and met a MONSTER
He treated me like WHATEVER
I nearly pulled the TRIGGER
I walked around like a SUCKER
Thankfully I found a foster LOVER
He drew me CLOSER
and treated me like a TREASURE

I came, I saw and met with TORTURE
His plan for me was to SLAUGHTER
His house was that of HORROR
His anger more like the THUNDER
Thankfully, I met his DAUGHTER
She confronted him like a FIGHTER
and treated me like a TREASURE

I came, I saw and met a CHARMER
I cried a lot on his soothing SHOULDER
He restored my LAUGHTER
Immediately I forgot I was once a LOSER
He planned my DEPARTURE
Right inside his HELICOPTER
and opened a new CHAPTER
He is Forever my WONDER.

SLEEPWALKERS ON NY MIND

A WEEK IN LUXEMBOURG

In lands afar, I sought a break,
From life’s demands, I chose to take.
With Luxembourg in mind, I dreamt,
A journey to a land of pure content.

Excitement brewed within my soul,
As plans were made to reach my goal.
To the airport, I made my way,
With eager heart and mind at bay.

Through skies, the plane did soar and glide,
Awestruck by the beauty from up high.
And as we touched that foreign land,
I felt a thrill, so grand, so grand.

In Luxembourg, I roamed and strayed,
To tourist gems that brightly laid.
The cobbled streets of Old Town’s grace,
A picturesque and timeless place.

The Casemates du Bock, a sight to see,
A fortress carved in history.
Adventures thrived in Mullerthal,
A wondrous land, so magical.

In Grund, I strolled by Alzette’s flow,
A charm that made my spirits glow.
The Grand Ducal Palace stood so tall,
A regal sight that did enthrall.

Through valleys green and forests deep,
I found my solace, troubles asleep.
The beauty of this land so fair,
Brought joy and peace beyond compare.

And as the week bid farewell’s embrace,
I retired to my hotel space.
In twilight’s glow, I found delight,
Recalling all that thrilled my sight.

Luxembourg, oh, how you have shown,
The wonders of a land unknown.
In blissful moments, I did find,
A respite for my weary mind.

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

Going to the village during festive seasons like Easter and Christmas and celebrating with old people My parents did it for years. When I became an adult, I stopped. They wanted it to continue but I saw it as boredom personified. I should be able to voluntarily decide how to spend my Christmas holiday – visit friends, watch movies, tour, etc.

TYPICAL? NO, ITS ATYPICAL.

Was today typical?

It’s not for me. Aside the normal 24hrs, day and night, etc, I saw a very good sign that it will be different. A day full of expectations and great news. I see today as atypical, exceptional, not typical.

A U G U S T

Amidst the golden rays of summer’s kiss,
Underneath the sky, where dreams dismiss,
Glowing days of warmth, in nature we trust,
United moments, our hearts combust,
Serenading August, a month we adore,
Time’s fleeting dance, forevermore.
